Some dogs leave pawprints on our hearts that never fade.

Each year at the Colonial Rottweiler Club Specialty, we pause to honor the dogs who shared our lives, our homes, and our journeys. The Rainbow Bridge memorial is a quiet, meaningful way to remember those companions who have crossed ahead — dogs who were cherished family members, trusted partners, and unforgettable souls.

Whether you are attending the Specialty in person or honoring from afar, this tribute allows you to include your dog’s name among those remembered, and to display a small memorial item created with care and intention. These pieces are shown on the Rainbow Bridge display table during the Specialty and serve as a beautiful reminder that our dogs are always part of the CRC story.

Stained Glass Paw & Wing Memorial

This handcrafted stained glass paw and wing symbolizes the moment our dogs earn their wings while never leaving our hearts. Created by SilverStudios, each piece measures approximately 7½ inches by 2¼ inches and comes with a chain for hanging.

The design reflects both strength and gentleness — a tribute fitting for the dogs who gave us their loyalty, courage, and love. These pieces may be displayed at the Specialty and then taken home as a lasting keepsake.

Catalog-Only Remembrance

For those who prefer a simple acknowledgment, this option includes your dog’s name listed in the Specialty catalog as part of the Rainbow Bridge memorial.

This is a meaningful way to honor a beloved dog even if you are unable to attend or display an item.

Catalog entry fee: $6

Display & Participation Details

Participants are invited to include a favorite photo of their dog for the display table. Photos may be emailed or mailed — whichever is easiest for you.

If memorial items need to be shipped after the Specialty, postage and packaging is available.

Postage and packaging: $16 (if mailing is required)

Fused Glass Rainbow

The fused glass rainbow was first offered in 2024 and remains a favorite among members. Each rainbow is individually crafted, with soft color blending that represents hope, remembrance, and reunion beyond the Rainbow Bridge.

Displayed on the memorial table, these rainbows add warmth and light to the tribute space. Quantities are limited.
